Crazy 1D BURGLAR dodge build! (Payday 2)

Crazy 1D BURGLAR dodge build! (Payday 2)

Burglar Perk deck dodge build for one down? are you crazy? Or a shotgun dodge build for one down! Let’s take a look at what the burglar perk deck actually gives us and wonder if it works on loud and not just the best stealth deck

One down shotgun build using the burglar perk deck is something that I’ve been trying for the past couple of weeks. I looked in to the deck by chance and realized that it’s got more loud benefits than stealth.

As with all different builds, this one will require a slight variation of play. With 45 dodge and no armor skills you have to rely on the extra tweaks from burglar. Stay with your team mates to help with the non targeting and crouch and stand still out of cover to regen your armor fast!

You could say, well yea yea, I’m sticking with rogue, but the reason I’m actually making this is that, c’mon, let’s try some other things. This game is 4 years old and it’s time to put down the tried and tested builds and open up to something new! If all else fails, just throw rogue on this build and it’s slightly better.

If you want to know more about how non targeting works there is info at the very bottom of this description. You can also google it and get more info. It’s a lot more complicated than you might think!

About the game:

Payday 2 is a cooperative first-person shooter video game developed by Overkill Software and published by 505 Games. The game is a sequel to 2011’s Payday: The Heist. It was released on 13 August 2013 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. An improved version of the game, subtitled Crimewave Edition, was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June 2015 (on 12 June in the UK and Europe and on 16 June in North America).

Two years after the events of the previous game, a new gang comes to the Washington, D.C. area to rob banks. The player takes control of one of the gang’s sixteen members and heists alone, with up to two AI players, as four player cooperative play, or some combination of the previous. Heists include robbing banks, jewelry stores, and armored cars, producing and distributing narcotics, stealing prototypes, art and artifact theft, rigging elections and framing corrupt politicians, taking on rival gangs, breaking into mercenary bases, and FBI facilities, enforcing protection rackets, and smuggling of guns, stealing nuclear warheads raiding warehouses, prison breakouts, casino robberies and various others.

The game differs on the previous by allowing much more customization of the player and reworking its stealth mechanics.

Non targeting information:

When enemies are deciding which player to engage, they consider a number of factors (such as whether that player fired a weapon, shot directly at them, or damaged them recently; how close that player is, with three range brackets; whether that player is reviving another player; and so on) and build up a set of threat levels, then attack the player with the lowest threat level, their evaluation of player threat mimicking the DEFCON system. Optical Illusion does two key things to these calculations:

It reduces the time considerations for shooting at, harming, or alerting an enemy, so those factors have less of an impact on the player’s threat level.

It divides the player’s apparent distance by 0.65; thus, a player that is 10 meters away is considered to be approximately ? meters away.

If all players on a team have this skill, the targeting priority of each player is effectively the same as if none of them had the skill, assuming they are all standing the same distance away from a given opponent.

This information was taken directly from the wikia fan pages, derived from the “long guide”. If you’re further interested google the following: optical illusions payday 2 (it will be the first returned result)
